1. Ask the questions politely without being pushy or nosy. People open up in their own time.
2. Gauge the mood of the person first. Not every question is appropriate for all moods.
3. Be careful of cultural differences. In some cultures, people may find some questions too personal.
4. Be aware of the stage of your relationship. Not every question is appropriate to be asked in the first meeting.
